With the trade deadline close, tonights meeting between these Eastern Conference powers could be centers Dwight Howards final home game with the Orlando.

Linsanity and the Chris Paul-Blake Griffin pairing has been big in Los Angeles but the seasons most drawn-out story has been Howards demand for a trade from the Magic (27-15). The 26 year-old player made his official trade request in December and with just days to go before Thursdays trade deadline, theres little idea how this saga will end.

Even while wanting to play elsewhere, he could choose to get out of his current contract in July and he led the Magic to the Easts third-best record.

First, the future: The Pac-12 is expected to announce next week that the basketball tournament is headed to the Las Vegas starting in 2013 specifically, to the MGM Grand Garden according to sources with knowledge of the leagues plans.

The St Louis Blues are in Edmonton to battle the Oilers tonight, hoping to continue this perfect road trip. The Blues are 3-0 SU so far on this road trip after shootout wins in Nashville and Winnipeg were followed by a win in Calgary the other night. They have used that run to surpass Detroit for the division lead (Detroit leapfrogged them with their own win last night) and can now see themselves battling for one of the top two spots in the conference come playoff time. But with a game against the top seeded Canucks tomorrow night, tonights game doesnt set up well for the Blues.

St Louis is 2-1 SU against the Oilers this year but both of those wins came at home and were only by a single goal.
