As you know, we’re locking the doors on OGS here pretty soon and there will be no new content after mid-June.

In the meantime, we’ve got a couple of requests for you, especially if you’re among our New York readers or you’re in some way savvy about the city:

I have about two weeks left here. Recommend a restaurant, particularly a specific dish, suggest a bar where I can down a Guinness or a cocktail and of course tell me what I can photograph before I leave. I’ve covered a lot of ground and shot most NYC landmarks, but if there’s something you haven’t seen on my photography site, please please please share your tips. If I follow your advice and deem it to be good, of course, I’ll send you a free poster of your choice of any of my New York prints (some are here; others are here).

The NHL draft is tonight and while there are no odds specifically for the event, the 2011-2012 Stanley Cup lines have just been released.

Vancouver (+500) is the favorite once again despite have some key defensemen they need to re-sign. This was the best team in hockey all the way until the Stanley Cup Finals when they ran into a hot goalie in Tim Thomas. There is a question whether Vancouver’s goalie, Roberto Luongo, will be able to step up next year in the crucial moments.

Pittsburgh (+600) is the new favorite in the Eastern Conference and for good reason. They finished with a big 106 points last year despite not having either Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin after Feb 4. B

Kevin Pietersen has been rested for England‘s upcoming ODI series against India amidst England’s continued policy of workload management. Pietersen is a first choice player in all three formats and it was deemed that he needed a rest after his exploits so far this year.

It does come as a slight surprise though considering this is a high-profile series against the current world champions and if there is a player out there for the big occasion then that is certainly Kevin Pietersen.
