Peyton Manning’s recovery from offseason neck surgery is moving slowly enough that he won’t be ready for the Indianapolis Colts’ training camp should it start at the end of the month.
Manning has never missed a game in his 13-year career.
His father, former NFL quarterback Archie, said he was concerned with the slow pace of Peyton’s recovery.

The player reps for all 32 NFL teams have received copies of the new collective bargaining agreement for review.
While Thursday is viewed as the unofficial deadline to ratify the agreement without missing any games, NFLPA president Kevin Mawae explained that the process isn’t a mere formality.

Reportedly, Patriots offensive lineman Logan Mankins and San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson, both plaintiffs in the suit, want either a $10-million settlement or the promise of unrestricted free agency.
