Looks like there’s plenty in Seattle’s favour today and they should have enough to get the victory over the Nationals. First of all they’ve got a very talented rookie taking the mound in Michael Pineda, who had a very good start last time out against the Phillies. He flirted with a no hitter for 5 2/3 innings on Friday and although he didnt end up with one, still finished with just two hits and one run in six innings, his 11th quality start in 14 outings. The Mariners are also a team in great form and since April 26 they have the second best record in the AL, 29-22, with only the Red Sox ahead of them.
