The right-hander was the D-backs’ No. 1 pick (ninth overall) in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft. Parker, who was 11-8 with a 3.79 ERA in Double-A, missed the entire 2010 season due to Tommy John surgery. Tuesday’s start might be Hiroki Kuroda’s last in a Dodgers uniform, as he has yet to decide whether he’ll return to L.A. or Japan next season. He’s been solid his last two times out, both wins.
